Lithographs

Marie, together with her husband Larry, has discovered the fun of polyester plate lithography in 2026. Lithography is a resist process, based on the fact that oil and water don’t mix. 

The surface of the modern polyester plate is made to hold water, so these polyester lithography plates, often referred to as D2P (Direct to Plate), "Smart Plates," or "Pronto Plates," are designed for direct-drawing or laser-printing. We started using them this year and we are enjoying the process but we are still learning the technique!
